Allentown is pleased to announce the new SC Plus Biological Safety Cabinet! Like previous models, the SC Plus offers the ultimate protection for rodent procedures with enhanced protection during cage changing operations. Featuring HEPA-filtered class 5, NSF-Listed, laminar downflow and exhaust with a 12" / 305mm sash opening, the SC Plus Class II Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinet provides full separation between the interior work area and the external environment for full animal and personnel protection.
NSF-LISTED AT 12 INCHES!
The reason why the SC Plus meets the NSF 49 Standard at a 12" / 305mm sash opening instead of at a 10" / 254mm sash opening is entirely due to the addition of a second ECM blower and HEPA filter. These enhancements provide the additional airflow necessary to achieve an average inflow velocity of 105 fpm, providing users with a larger opening through which to perform critical cage change and animal handling operations.

The newly re-designed Color Display & Information Center allows you to turn on the lights, adjust the unit's height, check filter and cabinet status, and so much more…all within easy reach of your fingertips. And now, with a brand new feature called MyLogic™, the screen communicates with you in complete sentences, eliminating the guesswork and making it even easier to program the SC Plus to your exact need!
GERM FREE CAGE CHANGE
To facilitate cage change while still maintaining the integrity of the germ-free environment, Allentown offers a special Transfer Chamber that seamlessly integrates with our SC-Plus Safety Cabinet. This chamber decons cages as they make their way into the cabinet and under the hood.
